Grief Weighs Heavy

I cherish the day we became man and wife
You're the one with whom I wanted to spend my life

Death came and took you from me
I guess that's how it was meant to be

Grief weighs heavy on my heart
Not wanting us to be apart

I've awaken to a new tomorrow
It's still filled with so much sorrow

Knowing my future isn't with you
Wondering how I'll make it through

I miss you more than words can say
To be with you again is what I pray
