Grief Passages Rewritten

Grief Passages Rewritten

Shards of shame lay splintered in unresolved pieces ~
Bits of crystal if only intentions not repairable

Minutes of I wish regret unreachable, not revived ~
Lifeless echoes sighing with no resuscitation

In a whirlwind tornados uproot shallow graves ~
Screams at the unknowable why unanswered

Yeah but excuses expletives and bargains with denial ~
Blank face of truth paces - bound restless essence

A star at midnight, maybe, a wishing star bends down in prayer ~
Points to the northern light always there

Could it be time makes a way ascending from ashes of stone ~
Grace has its own mission - acceptance

Many thanks and much gratitude for your congratulations and gracious message, Belle. I truly appreciate both! Hard subject but, while acknowledging loss, I wanted to highlight the acceptance at the end of the journey. Hope you are well. Sending you blessings!

Yes one has to go through the steps of grieving so that we can accept but never forget. One of the emotions in life which is certain and inevitable. Such a beautifully true and sad acceptance but absolutely necessary, so that one can continue with their life. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

You are so right dear friend! Over the past year grief has hung over our world like a shroud invading every part of life. This was such a timely theme. A wonderful opportunity to explore this process. Hope you are well as you come into your Holy Week celebration of Easter! Hugs and blessings!

Richard, thank you so much! We grieve so many losses in life. I wanted to acknowledge loss yet highlight the process God has given us out of grief. We all know those who get stuck in one of the states but we also know those who have reached acceptance. Always grateful for your perceptive and thoughtful messages! Blessings to you!

Thank you so much my dear friend! I so appreciate your visit. Your message is very inspiring and motivating. I wanted to highlight the stages of grieving and end with acceptance - not get stuck in one of the stages of this tough journey as we are grieving so much at the present time. The stages of grieving do offer us a way back home. Many blessings to you!
