Grey In November

Poignant grey stain hued,
bleak month spawns limp mood,
ashen mists dispatch,
gold, pink, purple gulf,
illusive bridge tween,
bright easel and gloom

spoiled harvest’s glum cue,
winter squash, squashed bloom,
staple fireside chat,
rank odour repast,
lurch to bland essence.
yet dewdrops shroud faith

We've got a gray morn here with the prospect of rain today and tomorrow plus even into Monday, but we need some rain in our area. I like this descriptive one, Howard. Thank you for sharing it with us. Way to go. Sara K. 👏✍️
