Greta's Glasgow Gripe

I wanted to traipse in the desert
But sand dunes were in the way
I went to ski in the mountains
But snow blocked the pass that day

It seems Mother Earth has a game
That she really loves to play
Forget about YOUR calendar
To Mother Earth, today is PAY DAY!

I applaud her activism at such a young age but if there is no honest accountability by nations, things look rather bleak...

Did Greta sail to Glasgow, like she sailed to the 2019 conference? ~ Mayflower

She gets upset that the uneducated do not understand her, and the educated ignore her. Yesterday, Hawai'i's Governor Ige bragged in Glasgow how Hawai'i supported international goals, but today's newspaper report the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki - erected on swamp land in a flood zone, with waves lapping at its doorstep - has just received approval to build another tower of 515 hotel rooms!

Made me smile as we have gone thru so many run outs over time from running out of oil, water, lights, paper etc. I remember how the ice field was supposed to melt however in that 10 year period we had more ice than ever on it. You can't control mother nature. love phyl

Aha! Good old Greta… she’s gonna look pretty silly when the temp’s gone up 2 degrees and we’re all still here. I was in school in the 70s and the experts said all the oil was gonna run out in twenty years. I wonder how that went. Good one, Rico. Terry
