green pepper house
I live in the green pepper cottage the faerie told me
Down the lane a piece, over the bridge, next to a tree wee
That is not much of a hint, I said, do you have another?
You cannot miss me said this faerie named Other.
I was not optimistic, but I wanted to see her house.
Where she lived with a monarch butterfly and tiny mouse.
I followed the directions, fearful I would not find it that day.
But it was a green pepper made into a cottage, bright green and gay.
