Green Dance Pants

They say Robin Hood was a groovey little dude

Prancing around in the woods in a really good mood

He flitttered around in his green dance pants

Robbing from the rich at every chance

He even hung out with some merry little men

At least they thought they were cool, way back then

Robin Hood had a friend named Little Jon, that wasnt that small at all

As a matter of fact, he was just as wide as he was tall

They say Little Jon he was a greedy little guy

He would help Robin steal and never ask why

They would take bags of gold from the rich and greedy

Never keeping that much, just gave it to the needy

They would help the poor at every chance

Then disapear into the woods in their green dance pants

A rather unique take on and old, old story and I would say it was very well done.

Thanks Donald. Just to let you know I wasn't just sitting around thinking about men in tights, I came across a Robin Hood contest.
