Green Amongst All the Pink

We are the green
Amongst all the pink
The ones who are smart
But can't think

The ones who wear
Jeans and t. shirts
Rather than
Tight shirts and mini-skirts

The ones who have crushes
But no boyfriends
Rather than herpes
And relationships that quickly end

We are the ones
Who like to help
Rather than the ones
Who complain and yelp

We like to eat
Chips and jelly beans
Rather than eating
Apples and greens

Us, we're into sports
Other than cheerleading
We get things done
And actualy enjoy reading

While all the other girls
Think pink is the best
We enjoy
All the rest

They all talk
On their i-phones
While we comunicate using
Phones our parents used to own

We like to laugh
And be ourselves
Rather than wearing masks
While the soul sets on the shelf

My girls are so cool
Every single one
Replacing them,
That just can't be done

*Dedicated to all those girlies out their who I love and adore. Thanks for just being yourself
and not trying to change to fit in. You all are perfect just the way you are!
