Greek Isles

Colorless boxes under the sun

Built not for beauty

Fast cast for fun

Sky above profoundly blue

Unsated desire of color's due

Wanton light of paradise blight

empty canvas painfully bright

White stark

Contours chromatic

Stucco frosted

Glare and glow

Rainbows die

Squinting eye

Monochrome palette

Swarming May Fly

Whitewashed blossoms

Racing to die

White color hungry to be free

Impotent spectrum

Empty image of color lost

Rainbows sacrificed to cost

A too bright gallery unfulfilled

Row and rows of empty canvas fill
