Greatness

Make America great again.
What does that truly mean?
The signs of prosperity wax and wane
much like the shine of the moon.
Sometimes full and brilliant
  others dull, emptied and clouded.
There are three lives in America
  the rich and prosperous privileged
The poor and often lost, forgottens,
  the lonely in the shadows
And the in betweens
  neither rich nor poor
Sustainees of America
struggling but secure in their efforts
The taxed and charitable contributors to both
the rich and the poor, foreign and domestic
still here, still working, still hopeful
that America remain open and lead
with truth, honesty, compassion and constant hope
 there in lay
  its greatness.
