Great Words

I thought I had great words to say
To bring out a cheer or a smile
And hopefully brighten one's day.
To beckon renown
Or banish a frown,
Like sweet petals strewn in the aisle.
If only I'd written them down,
They wouldn't have wandered away.

I love it. I think every poet and/or writer of any kind can easily relate to this.
