GREAT WAVES CRASH

As I watch the great waves crash I hear the sound of savage splash I see the water break like glass Like a glassware out of class The crashing sets my spirit free Of things that cap my memory Not all great things come to stay So do with pain that goes away Even waves as huge as mountain And one which towers like a fountain Can't say it holds its life forever But comes and goes just like the weather 5th place Judged: November 15, 2023, PST
