Great Occasion For You

G-reat occasion for you, 
E-vent that's so special; 
L-ight above is shining
O-n the day that's so unusual.

K-ind weather stays the same, 
A-s the dawn starts to break; 
Y-our birth brings much mirth, 
E-arly morn removes the heartache.

V-iew outside is so fine, 
E-vening shadows disappear; 
L-onely night has gone by, 
A-s the sun dries each tear.
S-ame occasion I enjoy, 
C-elebrating my own birth; 
O-ffering thanks to God for He has placed me on earth.

C-ome let's both rejoice, 
A-s another year passes by; 
S-ame one great occasion
T-hirtieth day in warm July.
I-mportant thing is here, 
L-et me tell the words so true; 
L-et me say 'happy birthday! ', 
O-ne great occasion for you.
