Great Is My God

I am not worthy Of all the mercy You have shown to me You are trustworthy I wear grace jersey For You set me free You are praiseworthy I feel gramercy For You made me see You are most worthy To receive my plea So I bow my knee

Joanna, I like the contrast, "I am not worthy", last stanza, :you are most worthy" I'd answer Unseeking Seeker, No, not blocking grace. Grace is God's undeserved kindness. As sinners no one is worthy. Still we need God's grace. Good job, friend.

By saying we are not worthy, aren’t we self-blocking grace? Enjoyed your poem, Jo ~ soulful, prayerful and as Victor has observed, humble.
