Great Examples

GREAT EXAMPLES We all need great examples we can look to today: The ones who know their Bible and who know how to pray. The ones we can look up to with great respect and love Because they live for Jesus and look to God above. The ones that we can talk with about our trials in life And see the care they give us when we go through its strife. The ones we can depend on when we may have a need To give what help they can then, and not possessed with greed. The ones you trust with secrets that you don’t want spread around And not hold them against you when they from you are found. In seven decades living, I’ve known so many here Who are such great examples of God they love and fear. I want to be more like them because I need to be Another great example for other folks to see. If YOU’RE a great example, remember this today: That others want to know you and share with them your way. Remember, your example can be good or be bad; If you’re a GOOD example, it’s the best that can be had!
