Gray
Time has come ,and carried me on its wings,
In my thoughts I heard the words the angels sings
Wish they would come and carry me home
Its just the way it is, for hearts born to roam
How was I to know it would take so long
Searching for just the right song
Words can send a message through time
has love become our only crime
Heart no longer wishing to roam
But where is the home
To head on back to where I lost my way
Since then my hairs turned so gray
Times slipped on by
So many gone , it for them I cry
My souls in the lost and found.
Tell me where my life is bound
Seems to get harder as time passes on by me
Remembering the dreams that used to be
Lost in the passage of times gone by
Like tears in my eye
Falling from the sky
What would you think if tomorrow never came
Who would we then have to blame
Things will never to be the same
Even though time passes me by
And memories catch my eye
Yesterday, we can't ever get that back
Wondering if I'm even on the right track
Trying to reach for tomorrow
Still dream of the land without sorrow
Or some close simialance
A second glance
Second chance
Hope for a better day
Or does ones heart just get in the way
