Gravity's Carpet

I stand mesmerized by the flash of your smile
Your eyes whisper softly ….I will go the extra mile
Moved am I in the deepest part
By the sincerity of your forever loving heart

Blessed by the radiance of your consensual being
Thrown with the extremities of this unconsealable feeling
Longing for your fingers to intertwine with mine
I look up as your breath against my face stops all of time

You have ripped gravity’s carpet from under my feet
My voice gets trapped on my lips as I try to speak
You have captured the very essence of my soul
You have become the piece that now makes me whole
