Gratitude

In life we win and lose
I wake up with gratitude
Stand then move
Despite the strangeness that ensued
When there was a change in latitude
I remained the same with my attitude
Because of an unexpected amount of gained aptitude
God bless you
And every one of my nieces and nephews
I hope you can reach success too
Like many way before me
May you make your own story
And take the glory
Even when any day is stormy
Keep on smiling
And trying
Without relying
On always being able to buy things
