Gratitude
We lack displaying gratitude,
An aspect we should not lose.
I’m so thankful for my parents,
They’re so loving and caring.
The only thing I can ever do,
Is say thank you for all you do.
I love voicing my gratitude,
I can express it at any altitude.
Utilize this period to recognize,
The blessings you’re surrounded by.
Soon there may be a point in time,
Where you’re alone and have to climb.
Forever grateful mom and dad,
For all you do I’m thankful and glad.
I pray I have a marriage like yours,
In which God’s light forever shines.
