Grateful For You
My heart melts, when you caress my face.
As I recall our last embrace.
An angel fell from grace.
I feel as if I'm floating in outer space.
Nobody wants to be alone.
I'm thankful for your love.
Time is of the essence, precious, irreplaceable, after its gone.
Your love for me was indeed sent from above.
Life is a gift, and we only get one chance, to live it, without wasting time.
I'm grateful you are mine.
And even though we met in an unusual place.
Our love sees no boundaries, no colors, no race.
I speak the truth while I sit here next to you, as you have fallen asleep.
My love for you runs deep.
Maybe I don't say this as often as I should.
But I would give you the world if I could.
We've been through it all and here we stand.
Entwined together, united, please don't ever let go of my hand.
And as the day turns into night,
I know that by your side, my love, everything will be all right.
