Grasping The Concept

Do you know the average
Life span of a Butterfly?
For most, in two to four weeks
They've passed on by.

So in one year of a child's life
And without overlapping, it's true,
Twelve to twenty-five generations
Of Butterflies will be lived through.

A person may reach eighty
And if that is the case,
Nine hundred and sixty to two thousand
Butterflies will have had their place!

Without overlapping, I remind you.
So there will have been so many more!
The concept of time truly is
A fascinating subject to explore.

A question that some people ask...
How can God have no start and no end?
Just remember that to all those Butterflies 
We seem the same, my friend.
