Grandpa use to visit me
when i slept, in my dreams
his halo shone bright
as we stood in eternal light
each night we'd do something
something new together
like fishing in the
Tennessee waters
me and grandpa
so close through our dreams
i wonder if up in heaven
he was thinking of me
cause
ive been fishing
and following advise
and ive been wishing
that he'd stayed alive
just long enough
for me to meet grandpa
