Grandpa Memory

Found myself standing over you today as I look down upon your grave. Remembering all the things we did and all the hugs you gave. Never forgetting all the advice you shared Holding it close to my heart gives me the strength to move on? The chill I get every now and then is you holding my hand. When things come unwound and life is upside down. There you’ll be watching down.

Yes, Cory, you may be looking down at your grandpa's grave, but he is looking down on you from heaven. Love the line about "the chill" as I sometimes feel this when I sense the presence of my late husband. Beautiful poem! Love, Carolyn
