-grandpa-

It's been a year since you were gone.
Pain and regrets are still undone.
Up there with HIM,
I know you are at peace.
Somewhat I am happy
And I should be.
Because finally you are free,
Free from earthly weight and pain.

I missed you dearly
And I know God sees me
At night when I weep
And wipe my tears secretly.

I should have went home sooner,
So I could of take care of you longer,
But I was too late...
Too late to even recognize
your favorite grandaughter.
