Grandma's Bible

Some scratched up glasses and a well worn Bible
Is a sight that comforts me.
It may not mean much to everyone else
But it means a lot to this girl, you see?

When I see these two things, there are two things
Two things that I know are true.
That Grandma’s been reading her Bible,
And talking to Jesus, too.

I’ve heard her pray a many a times,
I’ve heard her talk to the Lord.
I know when she gets to Heaven,
That she’ll get a big reward.

When Grandma talks to Jesus,
She talks to Him like He is there.
I know that God is listening
And answering her prayer.

In my life, I know there are things
And whatever will be will be
But I never have to worry ‘bout it
Because Grandma’s praying for me.
