Grandma and Her Birds

Birds are always flying above
and my grandma surely gives them love
everyday she sits on her porch
even at night she lights a torch

another blue jay flies by
even on the coldest of night
my grandma always sings to the birds
as they come to listen is herds

everyday i see a bird
it always reminds me of her
the beautiful songs they sing
remind me of the good times she brings

bright colors as they sit on the fence
Oh the times she held me when the weather was dense
my grandma loves her birds
sometimes even more than words

the birds always remind me of her
and when im down its the cure

i hope my grandma never goes
but when the wind blows
they remind me why
my grandma loves her birds

the spirit of my grandma will live on
inside the birds as they fly till dawn
oh all the wonderful creatures that fly above
surely spread us with lots of love

oh when i see my grandma sit outside
she watches the birds as they fly

never a day goes
and no one will ever know

just how much love grows
whenever i see birds in a tree grove
