Grandma
GRANDMA
I can complain,
And all day talk of,
People in distress.
I can also walk away,
Away with my ego and pride,
And all day boast of,
People I have helped abstain,
From suicide and from pain,
But,
Unfortunate I am that I lost,
A friend, a darling, my best,
My teddy, my only one, my right hand,
Unfortunate I am that my tears dried,
After the many years for you I cried.
But,
As of today grandma,
I want to smile and pray for you grandma,
Sing for you songs you sang me grandma,
I want people to know,
That you're still alive grandma,
And drinking from the rivers of paradise,
And smiling back at my happy face,
Saying that that's my baby, my grace.
