Grand View of Life

Sitting on the grandstand,
looking out over life.
I see so much anger...
I see so much strife.
The summers grow hotter,
as nature revolts.
How much longer can we go...
till life comes to a halt?
The air is so polluted...
my lungs want to burst.
As I watch from the outside...
I'd swear we were cursed.
We all make the choices of how we will live...
How much longer can our mother earth give?
It's time to remove our rose colored glasses...
cause reality says we've sat too long on our asses.
We are spiraling downward...
What did you expect?
As some are more concerned with their own life's success...
others are more consumed with gaining
more power and greed...
they don't really care what others may need.
It's time to speak up and let others know...
that God's word says we reap what we sow.
So get off your grandstand...and do what you can...
to make this world a better place...
we must all make a stand!

Pam, have you ever been a motivation speaker? Well, you should because I think you will be a great one. I see that you write a lot about our environment too and that a good thing. Tu

Thank you. Someone else thinks I should be a speaker but I'm too shy.
