Gracious God and Loving Heavenly Father

Gracious God and loving heavenly father
I come to you as your child so dear
thanking you for all you've done for me
help me please to bow in reverent fear

You are the one that gives your strength
to help me through each and every day
holding me up when at times feel bleak
without you at my side my day is grey

Thanks be to you Lord of my life
helping me speak when confidence is low
giving the courage to face my foes
bringing your word to me help me grow

Let me never forget your great salvation
when Jesus gave His life for my redemption
then rose again so I know justification
looking to the great day of His return

There's so much to give thanks for
for you, my Lord has been my all
looking down upon me all my days
thank you, Lord, for keeping me in your ways

This line spoke to me the most: "helping me speak when confidence is low".
