Gotta Be Tough To Be Old

“Gotta Be Tough to Be Old” Written: by Tom Cat 2/25/2014 The clock exacts its toll as I mature, Life rigors often times draw me down. Days once held in immense allure, Find me dispirited, often with frown. Days have now become compressed, Nights are long, pain pilfering sleep. Thoughts with age oft arrive depressed, Hours of tedium cause time to creep. Frequently I just need some time of relief, And thoughts travel hinder into my past. I quickly discover time has been my thief, From past to present lie’s much contrast.
