got it

Aha! Got it! Our young gray mouse grandson said.
Holding a plump ripe raspberry above his head.
The perfect one! He told everyone who would listen.
The rest of the berries had his saliva which did glisten.

How long was he in there? We asked his baby sitter.
It kept him busy for six minutes, and his litter.
The rest of them began popping out with berries of their own.
We rolled our eyes, thinking how great it was to be back home.
