Gossip

Gossip

When someone plants a seed of doubt
It soon begins to grow
Then you start to feel paranoid
And you’re not sure what you know
Even though you’re positive
The rumor is not true
You cannot look beyond the lie
And you do not have a clue
Why so many people have
Their noses in the air
But they can’t seem to smell the stench
They’re spreading everywhere
I only hope I get to see
Them get their just desserts
So they can have a chance like me
To see how much it hurts
