Gospel of a Generation

As a hundred of them came together to sing.
Love, respect, passion, honesty, and a kind heart that’s what they was told to bring.
They came in the door smiling.
Nobody was boasting or profiling.
They little faces was serious and focused.
Everyone of one them was ready for this.
This was there time to shine and be heard.
Not a one of them uttered a word.
Each one them thought about practice after practice.
Everyday during the week to make this work they all sacrificed.
By that early afternoon they was well tuned.
When you looked around each one of them was well groomed.
As the head maestro entered the room his walk was so strong and confident.
When he lifted his hands up they got the hint.
They little angelic voices filled the room and lifted up spirits.
It was so joyous and spiritual all of Heaven can hear it.
They praised God with all they soul and might.
After ten straight songs there appeared this illuminating light.
I can’t even explain to you how it was a wondrous sight.

Deuteronomy 32:3 I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God!
