Goodnight Son

Goodnight Son

The shades have been drawn
As he let out a Lion like yawn
A gentle stroke of his hair
To give him the slumber of a Bear
A kiss on his head to bring good dreams
The sandman is coming or so it seems
The lights go out to help you sleep
No worries son no need to weep
A little light coming through the shade
Good night my son your eyes will fade
Out comes another Lion like yawn
I'll see you some time, after dawn
