Goodnight

Walk into another world
Yesterday's fading fast,
Butterflies sail to the sunset, swept away
Broken dreams as broken glass.
Say Farewell to the past,
Open the door to the future, hold onto the dimming light
Drift off to blissful sleep,
Don't give up the fight.
Hope reigns supreme as the door closes tight
Open up your eyes, hands, mind and heart,
Softly bid goodnight.
Let the roses of yesterday gently fade away
And gather all hope for a brand new day.
