Goodbye Tim
GOODBYE TIM
The time has now come
To say goodbye to you
Death was unexpected
The good Lord only knew
Your soul was already gone
When your body was found
It will sure be a lot different
With you not being around
Just to reminisce and think of
The memories we once shared
A few of my favorites to recall
And to show how much I cared
We went to the same high school
Not knowing each other back then
In 1991 we were finally introduced
By Howard, our good mutual friend
Bonding immediately at first sight
Married off and on within 20 years
We had lots of fun sharing projects
With laughter and even a few tears
You were very smart with knowledge
In plumbing, electronics and such
You could sure fix or repair anything
To perfection in all you would touch
We never had any children together
As some of mine were mostly grown
You did take on the role as step dad
Since you didn’t have any of your own
The project of most fun done together
Was the Halloween maze entertainment
Your God given talents got to shine then
With so many who found the enjoyment
In our divorce we departed as friends
Lasting forever for you to count on me
Now that you’ve been called to Heaven
You must have new projects for eternity
I’ll remember everything you taught me
You would’ve been a good teacher too
Mainly I will always value your friendship
So just for now this is my goodbye to you
