Goodbye Summer

Goodbye summer
what a great time we had
now its fall what a bummer
winter comes we go into slumber
in our houses built out of lumber
from those sunny days
to catching as many sun rays
the warmth of summers embrace
with every season there is a new face
I remember going out
staying out late at the bowling alley
where we would rally
the meet up spot in the valley
making out was the thing to do
the warm nights didn't matter who
during the summer we just chill
I know you'll be back later I know you will
oh how I love summer makes me feel.
