Goodbye Love
Goodbye first kiss; into
Oblivion our last.
Oh, Romeo, could I ever let go of a lover's clasp?
Darkness is still, hovering limp.
Beyond eons of lost breaths, you live
Yet your lungs give no lift.
Every hidden kiss is etched in the stars. Could I ever
Love another you?
Oh, Romeo, let nightfall swallow me, too.
Vehemently, you slip away with hesitation.
Every melting heartbeat hastens my fate.
