Goodbye Love

Goodbye first kiss; into Oblivion our last. Oh, Romeo, could I ever let go of a lover's clasp? Darkness is still, hovering limp. Beyond eons of lost breaths, you live. Yet you cannot respond. Every hidden kiss is etched in eternity. Could I ever Love another you? Oh, Romeo, let nightfall swallow me, too. Vehemently, we end with unrelinquished tragedy. Every melting heartbeat hastens my fate. 1-6-2020

Well, that's news to me! Did someone gift it to me? Did you bring down a star for me?

Thanks, Andrea. I hadn't written about him in a while and I thought I'd give an acrostic a try.

Juliet this is lovely. You should host a contest that requires similar style writing. That would challenge brains!

This was really nice Juliet. You have woven your thoughts beautifully in this wonderful acrostic poem. The subject a bit sad but still melodic.
