Goodbye

Standing beneath the midnight sky
Up above us the clouds go passing by
The moon so bright shone down its light
And the cool ocean breeze caresses our skin
As we hold each other tight
             My lover and I
                About to say our goodbyes
Any day now he'll be gone and I'll be left all alone
To gaze into the midnight sky
As it rolls on and on and on......

Hi, Carlene, thank you for the reply on the bottom. I have a question for you, You sent me a soup mail, yesterday. I haven't gotten a letter back. Did I answer your question correctly? :)

WE are left with a twinge of sadness but the beauty of that sky rolling on and on.

Deep verse Carlene, it's a nice warm goodbye, the imagery is romantic until I read the sad departure. Nicely done. LINDA
