Goodbye

She fleshed out lines of scarlet red Poured from her heart's bruised vein she bled Two cuts divided their king sized bed. Sheath exposed, nerves unveiled Painful memories, her words revealed Breaths taken in, never exhaled. With guided pen, her eyes sealed tight She left for him, a wrong made right A last goodbye, that scarlet night.
