Goodbye

Now that it is over
I just want you to know
How very much I love you
I wish I could let go.

I guess I know how you feel
About letting her go
It’s much harder than it should be
When your love just isn’t so.

I loved the time I had with you
Even though your love wasn’t mine
Our future would have been wonderful
If you just could have crossed that line.

I will never forget you Curt
You will always hold my heart
I hope you find what you need
To get her to make a new start.
