Goodbyes
You left me hangin.
I was so unprepared to let you go.
But like the nile I couldn't stop
your flow.
I just wish I could have
said goodbye.
But all I can do is look
at your casket and cry.
It's like a sheet of grief,
been placed over me.
But like a cat with nine lives
I search for serenity.
Look in back on memory lane
is hard cause all I feel is pain.
The pain because you left
the feeling of emptiness,
because your gone.
I just wish I could have said goodbye,
but now I just feel all alone.
