Goodbye

Time to say goodbye to you. I need my heart to heal an stop bleeding blue. "Though parting brings sorrow, time soothes and shades, and our memories grow [dim, but] sweeter... for love never fades." These were words of another that I wanted you to hear, to let you know how much I still held you dear. Was going to tell you I was giving you space to do your thing never letting go but holding on loosely now. But to keep you in my thoughts will only re-open my stitched up wounds. I try to get over you by running the bad memories in my head, but your essence is so sweet your skin of honey overflows the damn of rotted bricks and motar; your flavor seeps back into my soul. So now I must leave you entirely to play with your new love. Goodbye my dove, thank you for the love you gave that strengthened my wings, I ask God to give me strength of an eagle to fly above the peaks of my prison and above the clouds so that I may no longer see you two as one. I will run to another land, and each stride will bring me hope and I will enjoy the journey to my new life without you... Goodbye my friend, I hope to see you past the end happy forever in eternity.
