Goodbye

Sometimes I wonder why it feels so good
Because we're headed nowhere that we really should
Endless nights of unreality are all I seem to see
In all this blinding madness I feel I'm losing me
I can't be my true self with you, yet you seem not to know
The passion that you give me isn't all I have to show
I had a life before you, it seems I must return
To a reality that binds me, from your world I must turn
Can't say I didn't love you, but you didn't give me all
That I ever hoped for, this goodbye, I can no longer stall
