Goodbye

He came. Death came.
Death reached out for her soul but she fought, she fought hard.
I am sure she wanted to stay alive so bad.
She wanted to stand. I helped her up.
She said she wanted to sleep, we didn't want her to but she was too weak.
We pressed on the peddle but we were too late, then a second was like a week .
I was afraid cause I knew she might not last the night.
Yeah that right. She was too weak but still, she tried to fight.
R.I.P to the one I lost. To the ones we lost.

Hello, Christian first I'll say your poem is "free Verse" almost "prose" style I like - "I was afraid cause I knew she might not last the night. Yeah that right. She was too weak but still, she tried to fight." good job - loads of imagery too! Thank You - stay safe
