Goodbye

Run away, run away, please just go, it's quite okay. The last thing I want from you is resentment for having to stay. Life has not been kind to me so it's time I say goodbye. I cant keep living a constant lie as my tears will never dry. All I wanted was to happiness but that's too much to ask. I gave it my best but failed again so now I'll just have to pass. I can't find the energy and I can not start over again. It never results in anything except a life of pain. So I hope that when you remember me you know I tried my best. But know one thing that I loved you and will now be forever at rest.
