Goodbye
Breathing isn't easy
And your heart is racing fast
Memories are all happy ones
As you delve into the past
Good times are not forgotten
And many make you smile
But the way you feel right now
Will linger for a while
The hurt is unexplainable
But the pain is truly real
Time is going so slow now
Please hurry up and heal
Life goes on regardless
You feel like you are left behind
You can't find the direction
To the path you need to find
You can't explain the feeling
Of watching that final breath
But you were with that person
From your birth until their death
