Good Times

Walt Disney World Sunday at 7
Street lights on at 9
Remember the family dinners
We had nothing but time

A game of Life on the table
Slap Jack on the floor
Metal roller skates
People knocking on the door

Happy Days every day of the week
8-tracks in the player
School was actually fun
Top seller was “Bayer”

Popcorn balls stuck to your teeth
Movies and a best friend
I miss the good ‘ol days
A letter in the mail to send.

The world goes racing by
Yet I stand perfectly still
I know that everything will come back to me
Always has and always will.
