Good Night
With every passing second, the day goes by
And so the sun goes below the horizon saying good-bye
From dusk to dawn
It keeps going on and on
When the sun fades behind the sky
What an angelic scene, passes by! Now comes a star, twinkling and shining
Looking at everyone and brightly smiling
Leaves us to look for the moon beyond
Keeps our eyes intact to the sprawling pond
Where is the moon? Did it disappear?
Falls from the sky like a drop of tear
Here it comes! There it goes!
Looking at passing people and foes
What a wonderful sight!
When the moon throws light
With these parting words
I wish you good night!
