Good Night
I walk through the house all silent and still,
My family's asleep, tomorrow's coffee I fill.
The love and the warmth of this time of day,
is more than this mother can write down & say.
So softly I feel their breath with a kiss,
this precious site I would never miss.
Goodnight Mommy, gently she rolls over in bed,
Good night my Angel, my hearts now been fed.
My boys are dreaming of Gameboys and sports,
while I am picking up all of their shorts...
Goodnight boys I say, as I turn off the light
Goodnight mom, "Lord watch over this night."
Protect them, Keep them, and love them I Pray
Give them sweet dreams and show them the way.
The blessings my family has so deeply given,
has made my life complete and so worth livin!
