Good Morning

Moonlight goes down as sun starts to rise Shiny windows glare in your eyes Morning dew on rubbish bags Bright red glow from the first f** Morning calls from the cockadoodle cock Can be someone’s alarm clock Early bird song echoes through the trees While others search for worms in fields Day shift comes alive As night shift says goodbye Wakey wakey shake shake Cup of coffee to help you wake Black sky turns clear blue Postman left some bills for you Smell of breakfast runs through the house Must eat before you go out Fresh milk and daily news on front step So much to do aint started yet Hope the lord has answered my prayers On this start of another day
